Your Journey

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Support Agent for our Customer Support Team in Amsterdam to help us in supporting our German-speaking users. Preferably, you start as soon as possible.

As the German Support Agent you’ll be working in a dynamic, international, open and informal environment. You’ll be working in a team that currently consists of 5 support agents, which at the moment handles requests from customers in 5 languages.

Your typical Day

You will be a pleasant and professional first point of contact for ROMEO’s users, offering advice and helping to maintain the quality and validity of profiles within ROMEO.

You will be the voice of our German-speaking support by communicating with customers via ticket system, email and online chat
You will answer our customers’ questions about our products
You will troubleshoot with users and process suggestions, bugs, and other information to ensure we are constantly improving the user experience.
You review the bugs/technical issues that users report to see if you can reproduce them for our 2nd level support/development teams.
You will help us to translate our Website/App as well as marketing material into German

We look for

German speaker with excellent written German communication skills
Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)
Technical background & a basic understanding about how software works
Experience in customer support with a good focus and an empathetic attitude to handling customer enquiries
Basic knowledge of software testing, mobile applications and desktop solutions is beneficial
Experience in working as a translator for German is beneficial
Speaking a third language (e.g. Spanish, Italian, French) is beneficial

Full-time position in our Amsterdam office next to Centraal Station
You start with a 12-month temporary contract that could potentially turn into permanent
